Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Cash Offer Team ("we", "us") is a free service that connects people who want to sell a house with cash home buyers. It is operated by Direct Marketing Media, Inc., a South Carolina corporation. This policy explains what we collect on cashofferteam.com, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • About the property: address, property type, condition, whether it is listed with an agent, your timeline, your reason for selling, how long you have owned it, and how you are connected to it.
  • About you: first and last name, email address and mobile phone number.
  • Verification: a one-time code we text to confirm your phone number.
  • Consent records: the consent text you saw and a TrustedForm certificate, which records the form page and your submission so a buyer can prove you asked to be contacted. We may also use a Jornaya LeadiD token for the same purpose.
  • Device and visit data: IP address, browser type, the page you arrived on and the ad or link that sent you (for example, UTM tags and click IDs), collected with cookies and similar tools.
  • Session recording: We use session replay and heatmap tools, including Microsoft Clarity, to see how visitors use this site and to improve it. These tools record activity such as clicks, taps, scrolling and pages viewed, and may use cookies. Our quote forms are masked, so what you enter on them is not recorded. Microsoft describes its use of this data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

How we use it

  • To match your request with a cash buyer who covers your area, and to send it to that buyer.
  • To confirm your phone number and keep fake or duplicate requests out.
  • To keep records of your request and your consent.
  • To measure and improve our advertising and this site.
  • To follow the law and protect our rights.

Who we share it with, and selling your information

When you tap "Get my cash offer" on the contact step, we sell your information to our partner Leadzolo LLC, even if you don't finish confirming your phone number. Leadzolo LLC works with real estate investors and home-buying companies. Leadzolo LLC, those buyers, and companies calling for them may contact you about selling the property, as the consent on the form describes. See our partner list.

We also share information with service providers who help us run the site, for example:

  • lead delivery software (Lead Prosper), which sends your request to the buyer;
  • database hosting (Neon), where we store your request;
  • contact checks (Trestle IQ), which confirm your email and phone number are real;
  • text-message verification (Twilio);
  • address lookup (Google Maps Platform);
  • consent certificates (ActiveProspect TrustedForm and, if used, Jornaya);
  • hosting and analytics (Vercel);
  • advertising measurement (Meta). When you submit the form and when you confirm your number, we send Meta an event with your email, phone, name, city, state and ZIP in hashed (scrambled) form, plus your IP address, browser type and Meta cookie IDs. We don't send your answers about the property, though which event we send depends on whether the house is listed with an agent.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

Calls, texts and emails

If you agree on the form, Cash Offer Team, Leadzolo LLC, the buyers and anyone calling for them may call, text and email you about selling the property, including with automated technology and prerecorded voice. You don't have to agree to sell anything. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that sender, and tell any caller to stop calling. Message and data rates may apply.

Your choices

  • Do not sell or share: use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information form. Once we have your request, we won't sell your information or send it to a buyer, and we stop sending your contact details to Meta, unless you later opt back in. If you fill out our form again with the same phone number or email, we'll tell you the request is on file. We only sell your information if you confirm your phone number with a texted code and then choose to opt back in on two separate screens. You can opt out again at any time.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request not to share your browsing data for advertising, and we don't load the Meta pixel.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your state privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas or Virginia), you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

California residents: in the last 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), property and request details (including your reason for selling), internet activity (pages visited, ad clicks) and approximate location (from the property address and IP address). We collected them from you and your device. We sold identifiers and property and request details to Leadzolo LLC and its buyers, and shared identifiers and internet activity with Meta for advertising. We don't knowingly sell the information of anyone under 16.

To opt out, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information form. For any other request, email support@directmarketingmedia.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We will confirm your identity using the email or phone you gave us, and you may use an authorized agent. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our answer.

How long we keep it

We keep your request and consent records for about 5 years after your last form submission, so we can show what you agreed to and answer questions about it, unless the law requires longer or you ask us to delete it and no exception applies. Leadzolo LLC and the buyers who receive your request keep it under their own policies.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards. Contact details we store ourselves are encrypted, and access is limited. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
